Midland EG Boys Qualifier @ Overstone GC

We field a team of 6 to compete against the other 9 midland counties in the annual event. Our boys performed well over the 36 hole event and secured 4th place, we were within touching distance of the top two for most of the competition. Thanks to all that helped to manage and support the team over the event.

The team was Jack Emery, Scott Frisby, Declan Goodfellow, Dan Agapito, Dylan Welford and Leon DeVito.

Junior County Championships - Sleaford

We had 32 boys and 10 girls compete in the annual County Championships @ Sleaford GC on Sunday 26th May. The weather poved tricky on the day with thunder and lightning forecast, we only had to sound the hooter once in the later afternoon thankfully. The course proved an excellent test for the competitors with the rough proving proving extremely difficult. The following results were achieved on the day, well done to all who played:

Midland Junior Under 18 League

Lincolnshire under 18s took on Cambridgeshire and L&R at Ely City GC on Monday 6th May. The team was heavily affected by some of our players either revising or taking examinations. We fielded a team with some debutants, the team performed well and the score did not show how well our boys had played. We lost both matches but there were some great wins with Olly Hand gaining a great win on his opening game for the County. Well done to all that took part:

Jennings & Peggotty Cups - Lincoln GC

52 young golfers took part in the re-arranged Jennings & Peggotty cups @ Lincoln Golf Club on Friday 12th April 2024. The weather was kind and some great golf was played, the course had stood up pretty well to the recent horrendous weather conditions. It was great to see some new faces playing in their first County competition, the following results were achieved on the day:

Lincolnshire under 18 boys took on Northamptionshire boys @ Rushden GC on Thursday 11th April 2024. The team won 8 1/2 to 3 1/2, the score did not reflect how close some of the matches were, with 5 of the matches decided on hole 18. Dylan and Leon made unbelievable pars from extreme positions to secure their points and their matches involving George, Wilf and Daniel all being decided on the last. The team for the days was:
