In today's Eastern Counties Foursomes Lincolnshire and Leicestershire/Rutland were level on 21 points each after the morning foursomes. There were 5 points at stake and the two teams happened to be playing each other in the afternoon. With the teams level at 2 games each and just one match left on the course Lincolnshire were 1 up with 1 to play on their last hole - the par 3 tenth. Liam Bell hit the green and when Steve Brattan holed the putt for a 2 Lincolnshire had retained the Trophy. Many Congratulations to the team all of whom contributed equally to the points tally.
